Tina Tehranchian believes in giving back and improving the lives of her fellow Canadians through her volunteering, teaching, presentations and consulting. Since 1991, she has been advising individuals, families and business owners on how to implement advanced planning strategies to reduce income and estate taxes while at the same time increase their overall income.

Tina is a much sought-after speaker and has presented at CAGP conferences, AFP Fundraising Day, the Financial Forum, as well as for such well known institutions as GE Canada, Professional Engineers Ontario and Centennial College. Her highly acclaimed industry comments and advice have been printed in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, The National Post, Metro News and Yahoo Finance. Tina is also a frequent contributor to the Canadian Business Journal and has been featured on national radio and television shows such as CBC, CTV and BNN.

Her past achievements include having taught financial planning for over 10 years, at Centennial College’s Center for Entrepreneurship and receiving many community recognition awards such as the Ontario Volunteer Service Award, the Newcomer Settlement Volunteer Award, the Business Women’s Network of York Regions award in the categories of literacy and philanthropy and community involvement, the Richmond Hill Board of Trade’s business excellence award in the professional services category and the Senecans of Distinction Award. This latter honour was established by the Seneca College Alumni Association to be conferred on those alumni who have excelled in their careers and made significant social and economic contributions to the Seneca community.

Tina is always actively involved within her community and has served as a governor of Seneca College, director of the Markham Board of Trade, Jewish Vocational Services of Greater Toronto, Mackenzie Health Foundation, Fort York Foundation and as a trustee and treasurer of the Encyclopaedia Iranica Foundation, a trustee of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, and chair of the McMichael Moonlight Gala 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2017. She is also a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. Tina currently serves on the board of Art Canada Institute, the research campaign cabinet of Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and the capital campaign cabinet of Seneca College’s King Campus.
